Theme: Expanding our viral frontiers
This series of biannual conferences is dedicated to the advancement of the fields of viruses of microorganisms, including bacteriophages (or phages, the viruses of bacteria), archaeal viruses, and viruses of microbial eukaryotes.
The theme for VoM 2026 will be "Revealing Novel Interactions, Innovations, and Applications", which references the rapid expansion we are witnessing within our field, along with the expansion of the VoM meeting in the heart of Europe for the very first time.
About Czech Bio
The conference is held under the auspices of Czech Bio
The Association of Czech Biotech Companies serves as the national platform for the Czech biotechnology sector.
- Facilitating access to grants and projects (including market research) for its members.
- Securing partnerships and establishing new connections with universities and international partners (ministries, embassies, etc.).
- Acting as an intermediary for its members.
- Promoting both its members and the association itself (e.g., joint promotion with embassies at conferences).
- Developing projects for its members within the association (since 2021) on approved topics, including research publications, press releases, etc.
- Once a research report is acquired, a campaign follows on the given topic, assessing state support (e.g., grants, subsidies).
The association itself does not apply for grants or subsidies.
